Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. NMF are made up of multiple amino acids fatty acids triglycerides urea ceramides phospholipids glycerin saccharides sodium PCA hyaluronic acid and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin.
This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components. It contains 11 amino acids phospholipids alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids triglycerides sterols and sterol esters glycerin ceramide precursors urea saccharides sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. It offers immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use.
Directions:

Fantastic Product
I have been on a regime of The Ordinnary products - including this one - for about 4 weeks now. This is the first time I have used products that have made an actual difference to my skin and I am now in my 50s. My skin is smoother, softer and feels amazing. So happy with these products.

Small but mighty!
Wow, this is such a great price, though to be honest the tube is quite small and the formula is reasonably thick, so I don't expect it to last for very long. But having said that, it is a great product. It is so moisturising and great for those dry and scaly or irritated patches of skin on my cheeks. I'm a little wary of using it around areas that are prone to blackheads and breakout, since it is so rich. But I find it brilliant as a follow up to the Hylamide Sensitive Fix booster serum, for those dry and irritated areas.
